My guess is that you have a bad ccfl. That is inside the LCD panel itself. They can be changed but it is not easy....

Be very careful about doing anything inside your TV. You have no understanding of what to do or why you are doing it.
Check to see if there is a very large off/on switch inside the TV. If you find it check to see if it is in the "off" position. If you can't find it (and you can't because it's not there) then take your TV to a local TV shop and ask to get it repaired.
TV shops are not the enemy. They also have 3 year old children to feed just like you.

This is a bad panel from the point of view of Mitsubishi. I have seen this symptom before. The replacement panels from Mitsubishi come with a new TCON and buffers. The buffers will not cause this. The TCON might. This panel was terrible. I would not be surprised at all if and other brands using the same panel were defective in the same way.
Did you ever see the replacement actually work properly?

H.O.Transistors come in two flavors. This flavor has a low resistance e-b. The only important resistance check is C-E.
More important, when the H.O.Transistor is removed is the B+ voltage. Does it return to normal? If it does the problem is downstream from the flyback transformer.Re: RCA 32V434T chassis ATC010A

This a hard set to work on so don't feel too bad.
I think your 5 volt source is coming from D865 which is connected to a cold ground. The pulse that is being rectified comes from pin 5 of T850.
Designers would never put a hot ground anywhere near a place that a consumer could touch. The drawings clearly show hot and cold grounds.
All readings should reference one or the other.
Divide the problem down. Take the H. output transistor out of the circuit.

When the set is on there are no "blinks". Do not count the blinks that lead up to the power on. The only blinks that count are those that start after it fails or fails to start.
The problem did not fix itself. It is an intermittent problem. While the set runs you can do nothing. It may continue to run forever. Once you turn it off, it may or may not turn back on. It may or may not turn back on in service mode. This model stores in a rom errors that occur. The service mode sequence is Display-5-volume...Leave a comment:

Almost all picture problems are related to the optical engine on Mitsubishi DLP. Some models will show improvement with cleaning and some merely have an obstruction on the lens.
