Re: Toshiba 57H83 Convergence
All, I started this thread October 26, and almost 2 months later, I have an update.
I ordered the STK394-250's from B&D Enterprises, who bent over backwards to help me.
The schematics and service manual made the job a breeze. Thanks to Quasar for these.
I put the television back together, turned it on, and panicked when I saw the dreadfully out of convergence picture. After I caught my breath, I pushed the autofocus button. I'd read some other complaints in this forum that the autofocus process produced disastrous results, but in my case, it worked beautifully.
I'm so happy with the set that I connected the Netflix box my son bought me for my birthday, back in October.
Thanks to all for your support -- and have a Merry Christmas!
