You can reset it without using the resetter. Turn on the printers in service mode, and press the stop reset button 5 times, then press the power button 1 time. It will reset the printer. If the printers can go into service mode, you press the reset button 5 times, the light not responding. You need to use the resetter. I already try it many times, it's work fine.

You can search youtube or google if you don't know to turn on the printer in service mode.

The method that I used, also worked in G2010-G4010 series.
