HP LaserJet III - ERROR 50
I no longer have this printer but inherited a defective one which I repaired using the following instructions:
The faulty board is numbered RG1-1438. The problem described is capacitor C153 (22uF@25V) has leaked and has created a short on the circuit board. The fix is to cut a trace to remove the short, resolder it with a piece of wire and replace the burst capacitor.
