Polymers in LLC-Resonant mode PSus?

Is it safe to use Polymer capacitors for +12V filtering in LLC-Resonant mode PSUs like some olderish FSP made ones?
Have two be quiet Dark Power P8/750W and I'm thinking about recapping one of them and make them better than before...

Stubborn GIGABYTE B365M AORUS ELITE - main PCIe x16 GPU port working only in x8 width mode

Hi,

I have this board, where I have exchanged the LGA1151 socket. During testing I discovered, that the large PCIEX16 slot won't by no force work in x16 mode, but keeps to work in x8 mode only.
I tested this with GPU-Z, also with Render Test (but tried also Furmark and Heaven Benchmark - no effect).
Tested on Core i5-9600K as well as on an Pentium G5420 and MSI NVIDIA GTX1070 and 2 other cards, including RTX3060Ti.
Board architecture definitely allows x16 mode, as all 16 PCIe lanes are present between CPU and main GPU slot (nearest to CPU).

Corsair HX 750W - DC Leakage at 12V Output Rail in Standby Mode

Just received it today from a friend.
Auto shutdown by the supervisor IC because of an under voltage condition with 12V output rail (dropped to 10.5V)

The same rail also does this when the PSU is in standby mode.

The leakage keeps climbing at a steady rate but slowing down when it reaches over 800mV or so. I didn't measure exactly at what value it stopped or if it's even stopped at all.

What could have caused that?

First time I have seen such behavior.

3.3V and 5V rails don't have the same...

HP Power Supply 6632A: Fast Mode vs Normal Mode?

FAST MODE vs NORMAL MODE

I have recently acquired a HP 6632A DC power supply. I am just beginning to use it and I have been reading the manuals for it. It is the first power supply I have ever owned or used. I am a very beginner hobbyist and do not have an engineering background, as may be obvious by my question...

I can't seem to understand what the actual use is for the 'Fast Mode' or the 'Normal Mode' on the power supply. Although the manual states what the two modes do from a engineering/technical standpoint, I don't know enough to understand what it all means,...
