    Asus C231NA Chromebook schematic

Need a schematic (or component identification) for a ASUS C231 Chromebook. Board is DA00Q7MB6E0 Rev E (Model 0Q7).

I've got a dead short on a few caps near the power switch. With voltage injection and thermal camera, fault is this IC. It's a Texas Instruments chip, but unable so far to properly identify it.

Numbers on it are 2150A TI 761 CQ

    Re: Asus C231NA Chromebook schematic

As a FYI, this IC has an unusual QFN package layout, known as VQFN-HR-18. Has 5 leads up each side, with 6 at the bottom and 2 at the top.

What threw me on this one is that the number is 215OA, not 2150A. So it's a TPS56215OA buck converter. Here is the link for the datasheet. Now to find where to get one.

      Re: Asus C231NA Chromebook schematic

Made from unobtainium. Not even TI have this IC in stock. There is another one avail without the OA suffix. Lower current rating (8A vs 10A) but it's a Chromebook so meh. On to the junk pile it goes.

        ASUS ChromeBook C423NA BIOS Cleanup
        by mferna14
I am surprised that no one till today asked for a cleanup of this ASUS ChromeBook C423NA. The system runs Windows Critical updates in loops over & over again. I restored the Chromebook back to factory default. But still it runs Windows Critical Updates in Loops (Shuts down & starts Windows Critical Updates again & again). Can someone clean this BIOS. I have post the Original BIOS. Thanks Dear

Request: Schematic and Boardview for ASUS Zenbook S16 (UM5606WA) – 60NB13M0-MB5200
        by newmemberguys
        Hi everyone,

I'm looking for the schematic and boardview files for an ASUS Zenbook S16, model UM5606WA (2024).

The reason I’m asking is that I recently caused some physical damage while trying to clip the BIOS chip with a CH341A programmer and SOIC8 clip. Specifically, I knocked off some components (possibly 6, though I’m not 100% certain as I don’t have much experience with this) around the bios chip as you can see in the photos attached. I was able to recover 3 of them which are now taped on the battery.

To help with identification, here is the full...

        Boardview/schematic for an ASUS E3-PRO V5
        by whatamidoing
        Hello,
i'm looking for a schematic/boardview for an ASUS E3-PRO V5 (NOT E3 PRO GAMING, has a different layout).
I'm trying to find out where i can find SKTOCC# other than from the socket in order to ground it for a Coffee Lake mod. It must be somewhere near/around the SIO but I haven't found a datasheet for the NCT5539D this board has.

I've also found the schematic for the similarly named E3 PRO GAMING V5 but it has a different SIO so it's not of much help. And I don't trust myself to hold still a multimeter probe on top of a LGA socket pin to find where it comes out the...
