Thanks for the repair guide.. Just one question, the keyboard is defective & the ON/OFF button is on the keyboard. Do you know what pins should I short on CON3101 (Keyboard connector on mothebroard) to at least see the laptop is working fine. Thanks

Ok information for all, got it, it's the 26th pin in on Keyboard connector CON3101 which has to be shorted to ground & turns on like charm. Thanks all
