@SMDFELIA i need some information i have hp laptop i received for no display.
Hp laptop mode:15-pxxxx
Board code:y11a
I check in sites exe bios have 5 bid.
So the question is how to know or which bios bid is exactly work on this board.
Not know is original bios or other previous technician try to change bios already.
Btw i fix this board one bid work for me.

Unless the extracted bios updater has a platform.ini file i don`t think there is an easy way. I looked at an bios update exe with IDA but no clue .The bios updater just checks the current BID. HP must have the list by model number. Maybe we could start a spreadsheet with model numer + BID ?
