    Alienware M15 R7 LA-L651P with i7-12700H - CPU fan not working

    CPU fan is not working. I replaced the fan, it is a still a no-go.

    The fan has 4 pins:

    1. Ground
    2. 5V
    3. PWM controlled.
    4. 12.6V

    Pin 2 is showing always on 5V. Pin4 is showing always on 12.6V which is correct.

    When running diagnostics on the CPU fan, pin 3 always stays @ 0V and the diagnostics module reports not being to find the CPU fan. I don't have the schematics for this board. I assume the PWM chip is bad but without the schematics, where can I find it?

              There was a server problem some months ago, some files are no longer available, they will have to be uploaded again.

              I went on an Indian website and downloaded both the boardview and schematics. I can post them here if allowed.
