    HP Elite x2 1013 G3 - da0d99mbai0

    Hello guys,
I'm looking for the motherboard schematic of the HP model
    HP Elite x2 1013 G3
The board number should be : da0d99mbai0
It seems impossible to find on the internet.

I'm trying to repair this convertible of my brother which does not turn on anymore and doesn't show any LED lights when the charging cable is inserted.
I've measured 5V (of USB-PD) at the first PMOS which comes after the USB-ports - nothing else so far, no blown components.

If anyone can help with the schematic or boardview it will be appreciated.

On further investigation, I've found the USB-PD chip (CYPD5125) getting warm and the whole circuit drawing about 0,14A at 5V. (tested with USB-C Tester)
Datasheet of the Cypress PD-Chip: https://cdn.badcaps-static.com/pdfs/...7761ccdb14.pdf

Between Pin 31 (VDDD) and GND I measure 0,9V - according to the datasheet, that should be around 3,3V, usually, when the CYPD5125 is powered via VBUS (on VBUS I measure the 5V USB voltage)
Also, between VDDD and GND there's 6,3Ohm up to ~7,6Ohm and that's temperature dependent - the colder the chip, the lower the resistance to GND.
I consider that a very clear sign that the chip is faulty.
I will replace it and report back. Unfortunately I have to order it from aliexpress so it will take a while I suppose.

In the meantime, I'll try force charging the battery (showing 0V due to protection circuitry) and see if afterwards I can get the laptop to turn on.

If I replace the USB-PD chip, I'll probably have to replace the firmware - do you guys think that I'll be able to upload the correct firmware back on the chip?
I've found this resource (different laptop model) where apparently the firmware is updated together with a BIOS-update:
    https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebo...t/td-p/7190659
Seems like on the HP-website, they provide the firmware / BIOS-update for my model as well:

Have you been able to find schematics for this computer ?

Unfortunately not. I managed to repair it, but without schematics. Everything I used/did is specified in my last post.
        Good luck with yours.
