Hello all, I hope I get a response on this since this thread has been inactive for a while.
I have a Legion Y540-17IRH-PGO (81T3). The DC charging port broke, so I purchased a new one. The original one was de-soldered off. However, there has now been 2 different attempts to solder on new port. The first time it was able to receive charge, but the device would not power up. I have now taken the board to a shop where they are telling me to provide them with the schematics because they need to know where the leads go because the "beds" were damaged/melted process. They told me these schematics do not show them what they need. Are they asking for the boardview? and do you all have any idea what they are referring to regarding the "beds" and seeing where the leads go? Please see the attached images of my motherboard in its current state. The other images are showing an example of what type of "schematics" the repair shop wants, they are just examples of a different PC's schematics NOT a Legion.
