Hi, please help me remove computrace. I did try with RcUnlocker on 16Mb eeprom and no result, absolute is still active and can not be modified, i think 32Mb has to be modified.

thank you. it was fun, with your bios it made some kind of bios update, then enter in MPM mode with absolute disabled, i didn't save serial, UUID, sku, etc so i put back old bios, saved datas and when i put back your bios I had all datas back, absolute disabled and no MPM.

Hi, I have Dell precision 5540 laptop from old workplace,decommissioned old stock. its a good spec laptop i9-9880H etc, so I decided to keep it and use it for personal purposes.
I was checking bios settings and I found that Absolute (Computrace) is permanently enabled/activated, and field is grayed out, unable to change it to disabled/deactivated state. I have a DELL Latitude 5520 that is locked when i go into Windows. It says device freeze, I can still use it under Linux without any issue.
I have access to the BIOS but the 'disable Absolute" is greyed out ant i cant do nothing
