Okay so I am unsure on what I did wrong but I've tried it on a 850 G5 and a 840 G6 both of which ended up with similar results, the G6 will endlessly blink the charge light white and yellow while caps locks lights up and the G5 blinks its charge light white and yellow for a while before turning to a constant white with both laptops now not turning on.
I took off both laptops chips the 16MB one on the bottom and the 32MB one on the top of the board, made backups of each chip (and verified them), ran the 16MB chip through the program, flashed (and verified) the file and soldered it back onto the board yielding me with the before described result.
Anyone know what I did wrong here ?Comment

Hi, I have a HP Dragonfly G2 with a bios pw. I tried the U367 and U366 with the RCUnlocker, but it says "Wrong chip Try reading and unlocking 16MB chip". Could someone help me?
Thanks a lot!

I have a HP notebook with an unknown bios pw.
HP Elite Dragonfly G2
PRO: 25W56AV
SN# 5CG20260HS
I take a dump of the U366 and the U367 chip and tried to use the RCUnlocker, but it says "Wrong chip Try reading and unlocking 16MB chip".
Is there another chip with 16MB on the mainboard or did I use the RCUnlocker in a wrong way?

I bought hp_elite_x2_1012_g1 secondhand. I accidentally found out that the BIOS was blocked in it. I took it apart and found a Winbond 25q128fvpq flash drive, in an 8wson case similar to a BGA. I soldered the wires directly to the legs of the chip. I read the vvdi-prog dump. Clicked open with RCUnlocker.exe. the resulting file was written to the chip. laptop is unlocked. Thank you very much to the creator of this wonderful program!
I am attaching the dump, maybe it will be useful to someoneAttached Files2 PhotosComment

by SMDFleaJust a thread to post clean VSS2 files/dumps in.A clean VSS2 file can, in some cases, fix
the infamous **"Endpoint Security" error message.
Be aware that if you use a clean VSS2 you may need to fill in missing DMI info using HP BCU !
I`ve included some clean files/dumps,offsets and a few scripts to autopatch a few models.
The offsets and file sizes are part of the naming convention i`ve used for the extracted
files.
hoaca388 has made an excellent guide how to extract the VSS2 file and edit/clean it up by
filling everything after...-
