It didn't work, my guess is that the bios password is stored on the EC chip and whenever i put another bios it gets written back by the EC firmware.

Tried with yours and another one but still the same result.

You posted 16MB and 2MB backups. UC5 should be 8MB with a non-vPro config .

You have the wrong size bios chip or you`ve backed it up using the wrong setting.

Yes you're right my programmer read it as W25Q16, didn't bother to

check what's written on the chip, i'll make a new dump and upload it.

Thanks a lot it worked. i tried bios-pw.org but it didn't work does it have to be extracted from the bin File?
