Attached below is another (very) hard to find bios with 5MB ME firmware for Toshiba Tecra R950. Bios file is OK for Toshiba Tecra R940 too. With Clean ME ready to flash. Compiled and tested by me.

Received an old Tecra R950-1JX laptop with SVP password on it. I read the 8MB flash and upload here if somebody can help me to remove SVP password as I tried this file that Vesko356 uploaded but the laptop again asked for password.

3.10. Toshiba

3.10.1. Consumer
A lot of Toshiba consumer laptops have a jumper on the motherboard that needs to be shorted before boot to clear the password.

3.10.2. Business
Most Toshiba business laptops do not have a jumper, and the password is stored inside a protected region of the EC. See affected models: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showpo...2&postcount=19
Either you need a donor EC without password, or you need to unlock through challenge-response.

Laptop must not be rebooted, the challenge will change.

The password is stored in the SMSC MEC chip,it can`t be programmed as JTAG access is blocked. The only way to remove it is by challenge-response code or by using another chip from a donor board that has no pass.
