hp 8530w Notebook Problem with Intel Management Engine

Hello together,

I have a problem with the management engine on an hp 8530w Notebook.

Device cannot be started and I also cannot communicate with it.

When I got the unit the bio was with a password, the program of mazzif didn't succeed so I flashed it with the one found here.
Since then there is the problem with the management engine.

HWInfo tells me that version of ME is 0, but should be 4 I guess?!

Can anybody help me restore it?

what did you do with the bios you tried with mazzif software

I think I deleted it from the stick...

Bios wasn't locked by a simple password, but with a username and a passowrd I guess

Then I opened the laptop and took the CH341A and flashed the bios with the one I uploaded here.
Also tried a F13 whitelisted bios and the original hp F20 one, but no success.

Maybe ME is just somehow disabled? Or is it defective? I don't know much about the whole AMT/ME thing

Try and install the AMT driver first
AMT Driver https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp450...00/sp45131.exe

If that doesn`t work flash the attached bios,then run the ME FW Update https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp580...00/sp58154.exe

If the error is still there uninstall the AMT drivers,reboot and install them again.

Great it worked fine after flashing the BIOS you provided and the FW update + driver reinstall.
