Hi all, I ordered EC and BIOS chips online, seller claims they are preprogrammed and should start PC once soldered in. However, here in forums I read that using other PC (same model, motherboard, etc.) chips might brick your PC. Is it a case here?
I already used Peste's cleaned BIOS without DMI information after which PC does not boot and even original dumps cannot boot it. I suspect it is either bricked or one of the chips might be malfunctioning and ordering a pair of new ones is my last resort.Comment
