Re: Please repair my Asus S510UN dump

The part number on the stickers tells you which version the bios is.On the support site it gives 3 options UNO,UNR,UN so you choose the UN as per the sticker X510UN . All asus bios updates have a 2KB header to remove, its very easy to remove it with UEFITool or a hex editor. Then you`re left with the 6MB bios update.I find it easier to use a hex editor to copy the update over the original bios. The original has DMI info as well that needs copying or you lose the win key and serial .

                                          by mkdj
                                          Dear all,
I have a ASUS ZenBook UX480F with the following symptoms:

I suspect it is a BIOS issue. So I decided to try to clean the ME region. I followed the guide on win-raid, and I believe I have done everything correctly. My problem is: when I open the outimage.bin in ME Analyzer, it says that it is Extracted, and not Region, Extracted as it should be. Is it normal, or did I do something not correctly? This is my first experience editing BIOS files.

I would appreciate if someone could take time to explain the issue, so that I can learn. But I would...

ASUS TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI - BIOS Help
                                          by grimacelord
                                          Hello,

I have spent the last hour on this and I guess this is just over my head, so here I am.

I have an ASUS TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI motherboard here that needs to have the BIOS updated in order to accept the latest CPUs.

The BIOS chips seem to come as a set of two: GD25B64ESIG and GD25B128ESIG. My guess is one of them is a fail-safe for the main BIOS? I really don't know. Or one of them is ME and other is BIOS? I don't know.

Anyway, I took dumps of both chips and then downloaded the latest update for this motherboard from ASUS's website...

[Request] ASUS A68hm-Plus unusable after update
                                          by zpawn17
Good day, excuse me, could someone please help me? I recently had a problem with a motherboard. It happened after a recent BIOS update on an ASUS A68hm-Plus motherboard, and my motherboard is now unusable. The BIOS chip is W25Q64. I have attached the BIOS file that is corrupted.
I hope someone can help me repair the BIOS file. Thank you in advance....

[REQUEST] ASUS TUF A15 FA506NF (2021) - Clean BIOS dump needed (UEFI Password locked)
                                          by ArkzG
Hey guys, I have an "ASUS TUF Gaming A15 FA506NF (2021)" that's locked with a UEFI password, I need to reprogram the BIOS chip but can't find a clean ".bin" file for this specific model, I've tried the official BIOS updates from ASUS support page, but they're 32MB updaters that don't extract to a usable 2MB .bin file for direct chip programming.

                                          What I currently have available:
                                          - Model: FA506NF (2021)
                                          - BIOS chip: GD25LQ16 (16Mbit/2MB)
                                          - Tools: CH341A programmer ready to use

Does anyone have either a clean 2MB .bin dump of this model,...
