HP ProBook x360 11 G1 Touch bios lock

Has anybody succeeded in unlocking these without losing dmi?


Password is located somewhere in DevExp1 (TXE) region but when modifying, it has only black screen.


One way would be to replace it with a clean DevExp1 region with MPM unlocked but haven't found a way to do it. FIT has errors when compiling etc...

Sure, next week. But the EC did not change when password was removed.

Is the DMI in the EC

Dmi is in TXE region

The bios at post 1 ,is it the original bios backup,if not can you post it . Attached is a virgin bios,can you flash it,boot once,make a backup and post it .

The one I uploaded is original dump from a locked device, yes.

I'll try your file in a couple of days.

That clean bios did boot up fine and it is MPM unlocked. Attached dump is after 1 boot.

I guess this would work aswell but I since I always avoid using nbdmifit, I don't know which one works for this model

I don`t like using nbdmifit either. Try this bios,if it works i`ll post how its done.

Is there anything better than uefitool to browse bios dump which have TXE?
