Sorry for the long story. I have a Dell Latitude 5530 (i7) laptop (South Peak 15 MLK MB DDR4 203102-1 FK8VG$JA) with an admin BIOS password that I want to remove. Service Tag: HYKFPT3. Other than that the laptop worked OK.
I found a CH341A Black and went looking for the BIOS chip on the motherboard. After trying to read one chip that was a firmware chip but not the BIOS I think I found the BIOS chip labeled Winbond 25Q256JVEN. Altogether I think I found 4 different firmware chips in the laptop. The BIOS chip is a WSON8 6x8. I used the CH341A, NeoProgrammer, and a cheap pogo pin clip... -
I have a laptop which i am trying to fix in which user enabled overclocking from bios and now it does not post.
Laptop with battery only: when power button pressed, power led lights for 10 seconds then turns off
Laptop with charger: white led in the charger and battery is charging, when power button pressed power led lights and it wont turn off
With multimeter i checked and i found out that:
EC chips gets 3.3 volts and it is not shorted (also no shorts on the board too)
Cpu power rail is fluctuating between 0 and 300 milivolts when charger is connected

I need a bios file for a Lenovo Thinkpad P1 Gen 3 laptop, model 20TJS2LA1B.
Can anyone help me find the BIOS file for this laptop?
This laptop is having trouble booting from a flash drive or SSD.
I've updated the BIOS with a file downloaded from lenovo.com, but it still doesn't work.
So I'm thinking of flashing it another way. -

I have OriginPC EON 15SL, however, my laptop starts and shutsdown after 1-2 second. Keyboard leds are coming on then fans spinning then it shutsdown and not turning back on unless I plug out the power cable and plug it in. I had issues with bricked BIOS then I flashed BIOS I got from the vendor to the SPI chip and still it didn’t worked because my EC firmware was newer than the BIOS I have flashed. So I wanted to try flashing the EC chip with the correct firmware that matches with the BIOS also from the vendor and it worked everything was well, and then stupid me wanted to unlock some... -

I have a Gigabyte AORUS 7 9KF (2023), motherboard GA-X7E Rev 1.0, that is completely dead (no LED, no fans, no response to power button).
History of the problem:- Original issue: failed BIOS flash attempt from Windows PE using the official Gigabyte update file
- Chip was left completely blank (all 0xFF) after a bad flash
- During first repair attempt, a PCB trace near the BIOS chip was damaged
- A repair shop soldered the chip and reconstructed damaged traces with copper wire
- Despite physical repair, board remains completely dead
