Hello, I have Lenovo Yoga L380, i5 8250u and it has black screen. It turns itself on, fan spins keyboard lights up and shuts down, and repeats. Just connecting the battery turns it on with out pressing the power button. I have tried the bioses i found it this thread. can anyone help?

Sorry, I don't have the back cover and don't know how to find the device serial. I bought the machine off ebay.

thank you but it did not solve it. its still the same and in loop. it probably has some other hardware faults.

so I spent much time messing with this laptop and surprisingly it posted up to the lenovo bootsplash screen before turning itself off again. At least, I can confirm the bios file attached above is 100% working.

Bios worked also for me. the problem is that now setup ask for a bios supervisor password that doesn't work.
errors during post are:
0271: check Date and Time...
0183: Bad CRC of Security...
Press F1 to enter Setup.
... than password was required BUT the previously password doesn't work

i search for the security chip to try to shortcircuit SDA/SCL
but didn't found on mainboard, where is placed ?

some suggestion ?

I would need to perform a Clean ME on my modded bios in question I already have my dump ready and I would need a professional who knows how to do the CLEAN ME without problem and 100% functional.

I used this dump (1.27) and it works for me but I noticed that 1.34 bios is available on Lenovo site for L380 yoga. Is there anybody who has 1.34 clean me BIOS for this model? my SN: R90VQWRQ
