I've got a Surface Pro7, it stucks to the logo for 3 seconds and then shuts down. Motherboard does not show any short so I guess the bios is corrupted. Can somebody help me? I attach the bios dump.

Hi all,

I managed to get the BIOS chip off the mainboard and re-programmed it. Unfortunately I messed up the pin 5 on the mainboard and I'm not able to repair it properly. Can anyone tell me to where pin 5 of the BIOS is connected to? Maybe I can rewire it manually. Many thanks!

Hello Badcappers,
could you please help me with fixing this bios for my surface pro 7? It starts up, but can't see the internal SSD drive and - after booting from an external one - has problems with ME (version 0.0.0.0 and shows as not working correctly in the device manager).

Model: 1866/i5/8 GB (JALAMA_ICL, REV: 2.0B)

Can somebody please point me to any direction as to how fix the non working drive internal drive? I am pretty sure it's a BIOS issue, as I soldered the drive correcty (checked all the connections with multimeter afterwards and made sure there's a connection), yet the machine doesn't see any drive at all. I will be ethernaly grateful for any tips, cause this is the only thing that's keeping this machine from fully working. :/

Is there a setting that I can change in FIT to try and fix this issue or is it just a corrupted firmware file? Or can an "invisible drive" be caused by the ME region not working?
