Thanks, tried but not working. The board I am trying to fix uses HM65 chipset, could that be reason why the above bios didn't work?

you can download from acer site model travelmate 8573T to get full bios...
but..

your file at DOS folder

1. makesure what model your intel chipset hm65 or qm67.
2. to get your dmi replace padding module from your original with UEFItool OR replace write using hexedit (358000-35E000).

you right.. dmi address at padding nvram module.. for the file use (hm65 -4mb)
