Hello, I'm providing a BIOS from a Dell 5501 without a password, maybe this

will help one or the other.

                  The BIOS is ME Clean.

                  Motherboard number = LA-H181P

                  Good luck ...

Hi guys! I've been trying to reset a bios password (8FC8) from Dell Latitude 5501, and I found a winbond chip, which has 1MB of data, but it all binaries that were sended by you are 32MB. So i think I'm working with the wrong chip.

                            Can you give me a hint - where is a 32MB chip? Motherboard - EDC51 LA-H181P

Sorry, I may be a little stupid, but what does it mean?

I just want to ask people a location on the motherboard (EDC51 LA-H181P) of a bios chip that needs to be read. I found a wibond chip (w25q8odvsig) and read it with CH341A, but I think that's the wrong one because it's 1MB.

I get it! the q80 part of the name of the chip is the memory amount! But I can't find any q32 chips...

All I have for now is its dump, but I cant open it with uefitool...

Thank you for your feedback! I've marked the chip that I'm trying to work with. If you need the pictures more detailed or separately - I'll be ready to send them!
