Still corrupt, but at other places. There's definitely something going wrong when reading the chip. Make sure the chip is soldered properly to the adapter board, the adapter board is inserted properly into the programmer, don't use a virtual machine… also I've heard a lot of problems with CH341A especially with larger chips (128Mb), sometimes using a different software can help but I don't know much about it (I have RT809F and TL866II and no issue with these).
If you flash a corrupt BIOS, the computer won't turn on at all and since you don't have a good backup it'll be harder to restore to working conditions.
Ok got it. The solder joints are definitely solidly connected..
I did use chip quik to remove but I wicked it off after..I guess I will resolder again.

Reason: NONE
The length is good, but the end of the bios is corrupt, try again .. use the HxD program and make a comparison between your bios and another HP 430g3 bios on the site ..
Due to a lack of donations, server free space at a critical level, and possible closure of Bios Requests all donations are welcome, click:
Guys,
so I just soldered the chip to the larger adapter board.
while reading the chip I saw a thin wisp of smoke coming from the chip.
I unplugged the programmer and checked closely under the scope.
Can anyone tell me if the two pins circled and meant to be connected.?
There is a solder link between them.It doesnt look like a track.
oK,
I tried ch431a ver 1.18 as has been suggested to use with this chip.
The software detects the chicp as 25q128bv instead of 128f,,however it reads and VERIFIES..!!
Pls check this one guys..Really appreciate the help.thnx

Please help .... After BIOS update, black screen, CAPSLOCK blinks once. The fan turns on. There is no way to create a bootable BIOS Recovery Drive for recovery.
