              Impossible .... Start ... quickly press F1 .... password 1234 .... press enter ..... type 1234567 code .... space, space .... and turn off. Back original dump and DONE !!!!!

                  That means it works. Now for the last part which you missed for some reason. Shut down and flash with original bios.

                      You have your original and your patched. You already used your patched file, now put back your original.

                              X1 carbon and X1 yoga are different models. X1 Yoga 1st gen is quite new. X1 Carbon 1st gen is old and has that P24S08. Yoga doesnt.

                                    It works wonderfully but it would be great to share what changes are made to the bios to disable the tpm but still thanks.

                                      i tried the method described but still have password set when i have my old bios back
                                      could someone please describe the steps to remove password again
                                      maybe i missed a step or cant work out the correct instructions
