Thank you for this great information, this thread helped me resurrect my wife's 330s-15arr

Used bin file from Post #27 and used information from post #29 to transfer DMI data
Purchased a CH341 with 1.8v adapter from Amazon selected the one that would be delivered the next day.
Applications used NeoPrgramer and HxD
Used CH341PAR Driver from wch-ic.com

Thank you for all the useful information in this long thread. Successfully revived a relative's 330S-15ARR. Only fan and Power Button light came on. CAPS LOCK did not respond to key presses prior to fix. Novo button did not solve problem. Screen remained blank.

I used the bin file from Post #27 and instructions from post #29 to transfer DMI data.

I purchased a CH341 programmer with all the accessories including 1.8v adapter from Aliexpress for less than 6 UK Pounds. Delivered to UK in 6 days. The seller was Realpoy Module Wholesale, who had sold 5000+ fwiw.

NeoProgrammer v2.2.0.10 (from link in a onetransistor eu article I was reading)
HxD editor
CH341PAR.exe Driver from wch-ic.com

I'm 90% certain the laptop was already running latest firmware ...38WW, updated through Windows Update (It shipped with ...30WW) many years ago. Lenovo Vantage is not installed. I didn't know how to block firmware updates using Device Manager until recently.

Checking the windows update log, there was one update "Lenovo System - 1.2.0.11' installed very shortly before the laptop failed. There is a Pending 2025-08 Cumulative update.
