    correct...

i have a problem after updating the TPM firmware, after successfully updating TPM and rebooting here is the problem, my laptop can't enter the bios anymore
after trying several BIOS files from this forum, i got a file that can turn on my laptop again.

    but the other problem is:
    - TPM could not be initialized every time booting must press F1 to continue
    - Missing TPM feature in BIOS
    - Service TAG and Express Code changed different from before

    Dell Latidude 7490 - i7-8650U
    Motherboard code : DAZ40 LA-F321P REV:1.0 (A00)
    Original service TAG is: H30FPN2
    Original Express Service Code: 37187431310

Unsure which one of the 20 stickers on this fkr leads me to the information on the file to flash this mobo with.

let alone any schematic to find where the bios chip is.

any recommendation on software maybe AsProgrammer? Ofc flashrom may work but am uncertain with 1.8v.
    It'll work with a Ch341a + 1.8v adapter no?
Should I do Linux instead of Windows??

    Thanks much for any consideration.

Dell Latitude 7420 BIOS Unlock Gone Wrong
    by Jeff'sTech
    Hello everyone.

I have come here with a rather specific question. I was given a Dell Latitude 7420 laptop with a busted screen, and wanted to see if I could refurbish it into my daily driver. I wanted to experiment and see if a 2-in-1 display would work as the chassis of the laptop and 2-in-1 7420 looked identical. I threw in the display and my hypothesis was correct, however, I was greeted with a locked BIOS and since I didn't know the password, I figured I'd try to unlock it somehow. I bought one of those POGO pin probe things for my CH341A programmer so I could read and make...

Dell Latitude E5550 - Strange Internal LCD (BIOS?) Issue
    by Eradicatus
I have a problem with my Dell Latitude E5550 laptop, in particular with its display.
This laptop has been sat under my desk (unused) for quite a while and I wanted to reinstall Windows and use it for some ad-hoc testing.
However, I am struggling with the display, which is playing up.

    1) When the laptop is left switched off, after switching it back on the internal LCD does not work. No images are displayed at all - no DELL logo on POST, no messages, no Windows desktop. But I can hear that Windows starts up correctly, so no issues with the rest of the system - must be...

Dell Precision T7910 no bios, no post after applying SAS/RAID setup
    by bmxlovah
    Hi,

My Dell Precision T7910 died after enabling onboard SAS controller and applying RAID settings. There were no hardware changes between working and not working state, only setup (via bios -> controller settings). After applying settings and reboot PC turns on, flash leds (normally) but there's no further action, it just stays on with no graphics and no keyboard led's on. There's no Dell logo, nothing. I've tried resetting bios by jumper, replacing cpu's, replacing ram, removed/replaced cmos battery, disconnecting all drives etc. I've also dumped .bins from mobo chips SLI1 (16...

Need Dell Latitude 5410 bios without Absolute
    by muf32chosen
Hello, I'm a newbie to this and self teaching things related to bios. I have a dell laptop that a company i worked for did not take back. I tried reaching out to them but to no avail and it's been a few years.

Well, i'm playing around with it and it has Abdolute enabled on it and it freezes when i start windows. I'm reading online that a bios without absolute can fix that but can't find that bios file or a bios editor to be able to extract a bin file out of the .exe bios file from Dell.

Can someone help with it if that's possible? Much appreciated!
