Acer Aspire E5-772-89L4 Bios needed

Hello friends,

I have a laptop lying here, which does not show me a picture. The fan is spinning, the drive is running but it does not start.
Can someone fix me for this model my bios? It is a relatively new device and it would be a pity if I had to throw it in the garbage. The model is Acer Aspire E5-722-89L4 Model NR: N15W2

Your bios is definitely corrupt or you have made a improper backup. Is the chip 1.8V?? The acer website update file is bit strange so i coulnt figure out how to make that dump. Ending of the file i can find in the update but header i couldnt locate. Maybe some more experience members may help.

I think Beginning of File was different if for Intel model. I believe this model for AMD platform.

Also Owner poster had mistake mention the laptop model on title box (correct on content thread), should be E5-722 series, wasn't E5-772. For OP next time not hurry to post double check your own post. Good luck

Note: If have issue when extracted, try use 7zip.

hello guys, that unfortunately did not work with this bios. do you have an alternative? the fan does not turn at all, but after a few seconds it starts to turn on very high power. Thanks

What code on top IC bios? 8mb or 16mb code?

The code on the bios Chip is the same like in the picture i uploaded.But the last numbers not 1511,rather 1618

Thanks, i wanted to check the serial on your laptop against the one in your bios backup as the E5-722 and E5-722G have a different bios

I can also start the laptop via the power button. Switching off is not possible. I have to pull the power plug for that. As described, the fan does not run at startup, but then starts spinning very fast. The laptop did not go from one day to the next, so I think it's bios.

Try this bios,your DMI info included .If this bios doesn`t work the problem is somewhere else.

@on/off sorry for interupting the thread, you were right about it being an AMD bios.Easy to get confused with acer part numbers.In your bios there was 1 small error at 5CA030 ,ive done that before too, missing the last character on the win key.

small interrogation, is it normal that the programming can take up to 5 minutes? With this chip I noticed that it takes a long time to delete and program.

It depends what your programming it with, but generally no. Maybe the bios chip is faulty, is it getting very hot .

so I'll get back to you. unfortunately it still does not work. the chip will not get warm when programming or erasing. But it takes up to 5 minutes to program / delete. Should I maybe buy a new chip and then try again or is it something else? Same symptoms as before.
