Hi guys,

I've got a laptop which doesn't boot anymore.
mainbord - dax63cmb6c0 rev c (tried one offered in other post, no luck).
It comes on but only flashing lights, few beeps and high fan spin.
No screen. All key presses not working.
Got myself a programmer and can read the chip.
Now looking for a clean dump for my laptop for use with the programmer or some genius who can fix my dump. I enclosed the dump with the problem.

Hi mahmoodjavan,

Thanks for the reply.
With this bios the laptop is completely dead.
Not a single light and cannot turn it on.
I reloaded the original defective bios, strange thing it reacts different now, before it would beep and numlock would blink now only the light next to the powerplug will start flashing continuously.
Any ideas or other bios to try?

I got the same behaviour back on the old bios.
When I verified it came back faulty so I erased chip and programmed again with old broken bios. the laptop when turned on two long beep , two short beep.
Tried and verified above bios again, no succes.

Thanks for the bios. This one seems to do the trick.
It does give a warning 'system is booting in manufacturing program mode... : 32'
but I've seen this is either no problem or fixable.
Will put laptop back together and see how far I get.
Will post the results.

this message is because of missing info (sn,uuid...).i am happy it worked for you.this image should work on any same platform with no problem except the warning message.You still can avoid this mssage.

ran hp bcu util and collected and filled all required info.

some help please with hp 470 g3 bios

hi all

i have 2 laptops 470 g3, one wasn't working so i took the bios from working one, after trying the working bios on non working board the laptop starts but first i get 35 to 40 seconds delay to start, i also get fan fast spin for few seconds, on my working laptop starting delay is about 6-7 seconds, when also i tried working bios on non working laptop i also was getting this message 'Soft Temporary Disable. To Enable ME, check Active Management (AMT) option in` but this message dissapeared after few f10 saves and restarting

is there anyone can help with this please i just need this 40 seconds delay gone and fan not to spin so fast at the start, the other working laptop does not have this issues, i am going include both bios here, if anyone can help would be grateful

470_G3_working is the other working laptop which i am using now for both laptops and used this to replace the underneath bios, but now on underneath laptop i get 40 seconds delay on starting, on it's board only 6 seconds delay
