it depends on model to model. Mos of the time hp site has only update file which somestimes need to be decrypted and then edited with hex editor to make it the required size. But certainly , you can make full dump from Hp site though that requirea little bit of knowledge.
As far as your probook case is concerned-the hp site has full bios-nothing needs to be done, its already full bios.

Hi all,
My Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro 15.6-inch laptop has no display and won't boot.
The charging red LED lights up, but the charging screen doesn't show any indication.
When I press the power button, the blue LED cycles on and off three times, then the screen doesn't turn on, and the device won't boot.
(I've tried removing the battery and resetting the device, but the issue persists.)

Hp Probook 450 G7 s# SCD0348W35 had a locked BIOS. Bought BIOS and EC chips off Ebay that were supposed to match this machine - the 450 G7. Flashed in the BIOS on chip i bought using a CH341. BIOS unlocked next boot. Some error to contact HP. Entered BIOS and reset to system defaults and rebooted. Machine worked fine but every cold boot the contact HP message popped and everything else worked as fine. Assumed the error was from EC chip not matching BIOS that i just flashed in. So i flashed in the EC that was supposed to match from the EBay chip i bought and instant brick.

I am trying to recover an ECS Z77-H2 motherboard, I dumped the original bios with a ch341a programmer, the bios from the manufacturer is a .cap file of smaller size, and it seems that I need to merge this file with other information from the dump, anyone can explain how to do that?
