what for the the file EC.ROM. There is only one BIOS chip on this board 25Q64BV?

maybe for ec like kb9012/ITE (it85xx series) that also should need programmed, just guess, since never come to my bench

Hi I'm Learning Student from South Africa
new in electronics
I do not seem to get any help on Google.

I have a dell inspiron 3521 LA-9982P Rev:3 2013-05-23
motherboard. it was making the Tuc-tuc-tcu sound. and I have bought the RT809f Serial Programmer. and flashed the KB9012 chip as shown on the videos.
it could read/erase the chip so when I write I had. 2 Bin files for Dell inspiron 3521 named.
1. EC
2. Main
after I use any of them the motherboard is like completely dead. not even switching on anymore.
even if I flash it with the original backup its still dead.

I assume I have done something wrong please help.

Please ckeck the Date , becouse i have BIOS that if the same but the date if diferent and don´t work.
