SAMSUNG Galaxy Book3 Ultra NP960XFH

Hallo,

I'm looking for a BIOS file for the Samsung Galaxy Book3 Ultra. Laptop is showing 'SAMSUNG' logo and then powers off.

M/B Partnumber: BA92-24579B
M/B Modelnumber: VENUS3_16_EXT

I followed the guide titled "ID Samsung BIOS from dump and download the official update" and downloaded the file ITEM_20240619_22402_WIN_P07ALQ.exe. After extracting it, I got a .bin file, but it's slightly smaller than my original BIOS dump, so I can't use it directly.

I'm stuck and unsure how to get a correctly sized file that I can flash (after copying the DMI data).

Attached is my original BIOS dump with only the Windows key replaced with XXXXXX-.....
And extracted PFAT file from .EXE downloaded from Samsung

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I’ve tested both BIOS files you provided:

• With the first one, the laptop booted to the 'SAMSUNG' logo and then powered off - same behavior as with the original BIOS.
• With the second file, the screen remained black after powering on, and the laptop shut down after a while.

After the first startup using your 32MB_1.ROM, I read the BIOS chip to check for any changes, and indeed, there were some. I’ve attached the resulting BIOS dump in case anyone wants to compare and see exactly what was modified.

In the end, I reprogrammed the original BIOS, and to my surprise, the laptop booted successfully. It could be that your BIOS trigger programming another corrupted EEPROM on the motherboard.
After installing Windows, it showed a blue screen twice. I still need to test the RAM, and if that checks out, I’m planning to reball the CPU.
