MSI CYBORG A13V BN: MS-15K11 Ver.1.0 Please check my BIOS attached

    Hello community,

I have this laptop coming up for 20 seconds without picture and switching off again.
Could this be a BIOS issue?

Sending you the original dump in attachment.

    Thanks for any help

          Hello peste,
thank you for helping me out.
Can i extract/open the file with the ending .114 in HxD?

I have no idea how to transfer the BIOS to the chip?

How (with what) did you read the bios chip on the laptop and post it here??

i use TL866II with HxD and xgpro and finally was able to program the mentioned BIOS from msi website.
Now the device is switching on and stays on but still no picture or BIOS entering possible.

              Any ideas at this stage?

Should this thread be redirected to troubleshoot instead BIOS request?

              Kind Regards

try writing the bios again..maybe you wrote it with errors..

The bios chip must be unsoldered from the board before writing or reading..
do not use the clip, you may have errors..if you do not have anything to unsolder it with,
solder wires between the programmer and the bios chip..

here is a video for example..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWWi...nnel=ThisIsHow

                  Hello peste,

i cant believe the machine came up and i was able to install windows 10 but with some compatibility issues AND
                  WIN11 cannot be installed.
After some thoughts i came to the serial number inside the BIOS. Asking Powershell i get FFFFFF as serial number.
I think there are some adjustments needed in the hex file?

At the moment i am using the BIOS file loaded from msi. The original BIOS file was uploaded with this thread.

                  Kind Regards

the bios from post # 4is virgin, use the HxD program (it's free on the internet), enter both bios into the program (your laptop and the virgin one),
select that interval mentioned in both bios, copy the interval in your bios and pass it to the virgin bios (copy - paste)....and that's it...

                        Coming back!

Whenever i let windows update all official updates which come with windows, there must be one update that crashes the BIOS.
The computer is like dead again. I am pretty sure, if i program the BIOS again, it will come up.

                        What to do?

MSI CYBORG 15 A13V no Display after powering on
                          by Harryrepair
                          Hello community,

i bought myself this nice laptop for repair training.

                          MSI Cyborg 15 A13V (Boardnumber MS-15K11)

It can be charged and powered on. It stays for 20 seconds without showing any picture, even no BIOS.
All MAIN Power rails are present, CPU with 0.8V. USB Ports with 5V.
                          Shuts down after 20 seconds.
RTL8111H seems warm with about 34degrees celsius.

Someone mentioned to check PLTRST# , but there is no schematics available.

Could you assist me with any hint?...
