Hello i have a msi notebook GP75 9SD receive with error 43 at gtx 1660TI with gpuz see no bios, i try to find the vbios for this card, i flash it with programmer in first boot i enable the gtx and vbios it's see in gpuz , i reboot and black screen and restard and vbios not see in gpuz i find one vbios with same device id and reflash in nvflash when pc is cold, reboot vbios is see in gpuz no error but after blue screen video tdr failure, and after again no vbios in gpuz and error 43 , nvflash see eprom id 00,0000 : unknown .For reflash it with nvflash must wait pc is cold.i don't know if it's vbios... -
Dear Badcaps companions,
We got an Acer Predator Helios for repair that's missing the VBIOS chip (UV2). I already figured out that the chips is a Winbond W25Q16JWSSIQ so we're looking for a 2MB dump that's no where to be found.
The Acer website listst some VBIOS updates, but they are EXE files and they somehow seem to be compressed or encrypted. I have knowledge of BIOS but not much of VBIOS. Is there somebody out there that can help me?

So, I have a dell g15 5530 i7-13650HX and RTX 4060.
I tried to update the vBIOS from this link and something failed https://www.dell.com/support/home/en...15-5530-laptop
I have the logs and everything but now the vbios is corrupted. I tried to flash with the dell firmware tool but it crashes after it says reading the eeprom.
Can any one please share the vbios of there laptop with the same specs please so that I can use nvflash. I am kind of scared and would really appreciate if anyone... -
Hello, I have tried to copy the nvidia vbios from an MSI GL63 8RC laptop to another similar laptop. I have used the CH341a programmer. I have read the vbios and saved it to program the other chip. The fact is that after soldering the chips again, The two graphics do not work. Can anyone provide the Vbios dump for this laptop? Thank you -
Hi everyone, hope to get someone to help and modify bios rom for me.
I need to disable dedicated nvidia graphics chip permanently.
GPU chip had failed(cracked silicon DIE) and I can only use laptop without failing if I disable nvidia graphics in dev manager (but it still draws power from battery and generates thermal signature.
Ideally if it was disabled from bios at preboot.
I believe it is possible, because if I attatch external alienware graphics amplifier , laptop at boot will disable dedicated graphics #1 (failed one) and will only boot with AGA...08-06-2024, 05:15 AM
