    Asus TP412FA

    Hello

I have ASUS M413IA-EB848T laptop with startup password.
    Board number is X421IA

I tried searching for AMITSE section in bios dump, but hex for password was not same length as the decryption hex from SMDFlea guide. (picture 1). I try 00 out the password and leaving 01 before the end (picture 2) but it not work. What is going wrong?, i like to figure out how it works.

    BIOS dump is attached.
    Thank you

Thank you sir that has worked.

So did you search for other instances of the encrypted password in the dump and 00 them out?

And you do it this way if the encrypted password is not same length as the Decrypt Challenge hex?

nope, you can't decrypt it so Decrypt Challenge hex has no matter in this. I searched for what is marked in 1st photo and found it in 3 places.
