Hello, I have the EliteBook 840 G8 Wolf Security version. The winbond chip is bios admin locked. Would I be able to rewrite with stock bin. ? Or is the dump the only bin. I can use? Thank you in advance!

post S/N, full name and model, motherboard model, product number, etc.

post the original contents of the bios chip..you need an SPI programmer...here is a video for example..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWWi...nnel=ThisIsHow

I finally got the bin file, I am now having issue with uploading file into the forum......what is the process of uploading a file. I do not see the option in the interface, only link or image file upload options
                  .

                            Good Day sir!

I programmed this to my bios but when I Press the power button it displayed ''recovering the old bios'' something like that cause it says i programed the wrong ones. It automatically recovers its old bios.
and then when i checked it the bios really came back to its own bios not this details below

                            -BuildId_21WWCVET601#SUUF#DUUF
                            -Serial_5CG21146BA

So technically it still has the swatlock problem. still thank you sir for trying to help me. I really appreciate it.
