I've just check the service tag on DELL it apear to be valide with a "zero" not a "O"

and btw I've tried the code you mentionned above but didnt worked. I guess it is bound to service tag.

Hi, I also have a second hand dell latitude E4310. I have the password. It is with Windows 7 Enterprise which cannot be upgraded to Windows 10 as per Microsoft. Will there be a way to make the laptop to get rid of the password protection (that mean to make it like a regular laptop which does not need a password) so that I can install a regular windows 7 and get it upgrade to windows 10?

Dell Latitude 5520 - dump bios to obtain password
                        by iwu
                        Hello,

I am not experienced in electronics, but I really want to check if my idea is possible.

I have motherboard replaced from Dell Latitude 5520 (11th gen on i5 CPU).
BIOS/UEFI access on that MB/PC is blocked by password which I want to get it know - even if I need some bruteforcing or stupid manual activities.
                        There was no computrace activated.

I was happy when I saw many posts about removing BIOS password based on .bin file dummps. I wanted to go little further - get to know the password from the dump.

                        1. I do not know how thebios...
