Please help me set the CPU to run on only one core?

My laptop has an issue with the CPU. Please help me MOD BIOS set the CPU to run on only one core by default?
model: latitude 7400
SVG: 92WVK33
(At present, it defaults to running on all cores. My CPU is faulty. When I set it to run on only one core, the laptop operates normally. However, when the CMOS battery runs out, it defaults back to using all cores, causing issues with the laptop. Now, I want to set it to default to running on one core as shown in the image.)
