The device works, the screen does not turn on. Constant amperage between 1.20amp and 1.25amp. It has been looked at at a different service before. HM470 has been renewed, there is no malfunction, all voltages are full. Is the bios original? unstable, bios clean me or new bios help. Thank you

hey masters I have one of these Acer Nitro 5 to repair and I'm pretty sure its a bios problem, the original bios I press to power on and the power LED turns on for 6 seconds and it goes off, PSU marks 8mAh in stand by and goes up to 50mA when I press power on and goes back to 8mAh when I power off. the bios chip was dessoldered before so I don't know what they have done to it, I took a dump file of it and I tried some other bios I found before I found this topic, the pc turns on (power led on, keyboard light on, it resets when get a new bios but no picture, power consuptions fluctuates from 1 to 1.6amps and it settles on 1.4amp after a minute or two also fans turn on/off few times with this last bios you posted here). I attach the dump I got from it here but I don't have much faith on it. is there a way to create clean new bios for this machine? I also have EC programmer if needed, please let me know if need more informations.

PS. I know the dump is super weird I read it 4 times and it gave me all the same, and I'm using a good programmer. 33kb zipped is pretty much useless I guess

For the types of bios posted here you would need to use an SPI programmer. Have you tried updating with the bios from acer support

I haven't but the current bios version of this laptop is already at v2.06.. can you elaborate how to use the SPI programmer?

I also found out that the gtx 1650ti won't show up in device manager
