my lenovo legion 7 decided not to post one day and its stuck with only RGB on (no display output) so i decided to remove the cmos battery and leave it over night nothing changed (still only rgb on) so i decided to reflash bios chip (winbond 25Q80EWSIG) and when i downloaded a bios binary (from here) (insyde bios) and my programmer (ch341a) says its too big of a file size (it says my ic chip is 1m-bit and the bin file 16m-bit)(and even though its literally desinged for my model) so i said ok i'm gonna download from lenovo the biospackage.exe file then i would extract it and reflash it and guess what (that file is 16m-bit too) i just don't know what to do now please HELP

The winbond 25Q80EWSIG is not the bios chip, it is for Thunderbolt firmware or something else.Don`t erase the contents of that chip,i hope you made a backup.The bios chip is somewhere else on the board

well i took a backup of it before reflshing it should i put the backup back and look for another chip? on the board

Ok so i found two chips that look like bios chips (has 8 pins and the size of it is simmilar to a spi bios chip) so first one has (CH128AM1G PPA0990055 2023C(its 1G or IG cus that part is written a bit blurry) ) Or (W27Y G9611M) does any of those other two look like bios chips to you? Because i searched on google and the chip that you're saying its something else says its a bios chip.

Neither of them. What is the motherboard part number, it will be in white silkscreen paint, it could be LA-J561P .The chip is most likely to be WSON8 ,look under the plastic sheet ,it could be hiding

There is a chip that has MHPC B2015 NS692417 written in white on it if that is now what you're looking for i sent a picture of the motherboard because i checked all of the white stickers and there is nothing that is written in that layout like the thing that have written in them are (AM2VH000200 (THAT IS "V" or "U" because they look simmilar here) ) or (FLY008100C3) or (FLY00-TP-FCC (this is track pad but both of them have FLY in them so maybe those two are related to each other to find the model number for the motherboard) )
And for the frame written in black on a black case its written (FLY00_UP_FRAME #1) maybe the motherboards model name is somehow (FLY00)?
EDIT: Oh actually yeah i googled "FLY00 mother board and i found my mother board on alibaba with the tag LA-J561P so you were correct

According to the schematic the bios chip location is marked UH3 ,and it is a SOP8 chip https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showth...light=LA-J561P

Make a backup and post it here, don`t try flashing any other bios yet.

ok so i found the letter UH3 right below the chip you said it wasn't a bios chip written on the board it self so i put my clip on top of it but it doesn't connect to my raspberrypi is that a spi device or other kind of device because SOP8 is SPI i think

Hello everyone. I have the same problem. Is it possible to read this system using the CH341a programmer? I tried to use several programs for this programmer, but none could determine this chip. And when I set another 16MB chip, the downloaded Bios image is not correct. Please help
