1) any schematics?
2) what are part markings on the dcin mosfets?
3) likely they are N-channel mosfets so gate must be ~25v to enable each.
4) which charger IC drives these mosfets on your logic board? Post the close up pics or topside markings. If the typical BQ series, check the voltage of:
REGN
ACDRV - this pin will have a 4k resistor to the dcin mosfets gate pins. Remove the 4k resistor and check ACDRV at the charger IC. This should be ~25v if working properly.
Post each measurement.
Often the 2nd dcin mosfet is defective and is the root cause of these issues. See the sticky above from @Piernov on charger circuits.
