Good day brothers... I have this Asus X415EA no power, 1st mosfet in DCin section no 19V volts at the soruce and 0volts at gate pin, 2nd mosfet has 3.5V at drain and 0v at gate pin... -

Hi good day to all! Just newbie in laptop repairing, can anyone help me about this ASUS X401a having power but no display. I have notice that Vcore Mosfet PQ8001 and PQ8006 including the caps are getting very hot but having 1.06V output... Can somebody help me solving this laptop issue... Thanks in advanced!... -
ACER Travelmate B116 Series No Power
Hi everyone! Can anyone please help me about my Acer Travelmate B116 series with no power issue... I already reset the laptop but no result, removed the battery for a couple of minutes reinsert and put on the AC adaptor but same result. I have 19V in the mother board, 3.3V at the power button but no 3.3V at Main Bios and EC Bios Chip. Can you guys help me or provide me bios dump for the Main Bios and EC Chip, maybe this will solve the problem... Thanks guys in advanced!... -

i measured it 1.5 ohm only... i try to removed that 5E=3H ic since i suspected it to be shorted but still there is that short......Leave a comment:

That smd transistor at the left top of that 5E=3H ic tested short but when remove transistor is ok....Leave a comment:

then the 2nd A5 VNC mosfet output and the 3rd and 4th E4 GUC mosfet near that big coil and PJP8302 tested less than 2 ohms to ground...Leave a comment:

i did what you advised me to do, i used my lab power supply and increase the voltage and current little by little until it reaches 19V 2A and found out that one of the internal RAM chip is getting significantly hot......Leave a comment:

Hello good day! I have this ASUS X455L that wont turn on and even if i plug the power adapter it wont charge and the charging light indicator wont lit... i've done initial troubleshooting i found out that there is smd component marked 43t shorted but when i pull out it was ok, and there is 20 pin smd component beside it marked 5E=3H which im not sure what type of component it is and i suspected it to be shorted since some of its pins tested shorted. by the way can somebody share a schematic to me... thanks -
