HP Zbook 15v G5

Hi guys, i need help with identifying IC.

Customer brought me his notebook after previous repair shop visit. Problem was, his notebook was not charging and unable to start with battery plugged in. So that shop desoldered one IC. Notebook is working on AC, but customer wants fix.

And i have no idea how to find what that was and i don't have donor board.

It's TPS65987SCE

But it should charge without this IC present. Afaik It only manages power when connecting to a Docking Station. So you probably have a second issue.

do u have schem? without it can be charging affected
