Im working on my hp elite book g3 840. Caps and power lights blinks but no power, bios recovery dont work, i've tried different ram, cleaned ram slots and but still no luck. tested ram on different laptop and all works fine. please any help?

Have you tried to disconnect both the main battery and the CMOS battery.
Press and hold the power button for 30-45 seconds.
Then hook the attach batteries.
Try to power on, give it about a minute to see if it comes back.
If not, repeat above but this time remove ram prior to powering on
Listen for BEEPS, then power off & install ram again.
I have had many elitebooks respond to this method,
You can even try & leave the CMOS battery disconnected until it responds.
