    Dell Latitude E7450 "bhtemmcdr.sys" Blue Screen error. Need Help Please

    Hi,

    I have this Dell Latitude E7450 with "bhtemmcdr.sys" error that causes a blue screen few seconds after the laptop has booted to the home screen. I have attached an image of the blue screen error it shows.

    I need help in fixing it. Thanks

    It is crapware. The device driver was poorly written and should not have been signed by Microsoft's 'rigid' rules.

    If you boot in SAFE mode, this driver will not load and then no more BSOD. Confirm it.

    If possible, format the drive and start with a fresh start of Windows. Watch what you install as this is some 3rd party hardware driver. Unable to find who the vendor is but may be a SDcard product.

    Either way, as you install the hardware drivers, grab the latest from the vendor's website ONLY!!

    Reboot after you do to see if the nasty driver returns.

    Some propeller head software tool will probably allow you to purge out this driver once you are in safe mode with networking support. You are not alone on this driver fault.

          Here's what i did; I disabled the SD Media Card port from the BIOS setup environment and it has been working fine since then.
