ASUS FA506IV does the KBC will reprogram by itself ?

Hello You all, I hope You are all safe and healthy

I got a question about KBC in that laptop
( ASUS FA506IV / motherboard DABKXBMBAD0 rev. d )

...that laptop is not charging and not powering on battery but when i plug the dc charger the LED indicator on laptop is turning orange like it was charning ...but it's not.

I have changed the ic charger BQ24780S and the mosfets near by but the problem still is there so i think that maybe because a short curcuit there is something wrong with the KBC ( laptop is working perfectly fine and stable only thing is that battery issue ) ...to the question

Does the KBC IT8987VG will reprogram by itself or via BIOS if i change it to the new one ? Or do i have to download firmware and reprogram the new IC with the backup of the old KBC ?

Did you check first and second mosfet for internal short?

Since the laptop is working fine except charging, kbc is unlikely bad. rather measure voltage on BQ24780S all pins and post here. Be careful while measuring.
