Asus x550cc not turn on

Hi , my laptop as decide to stop working ,

wen i push the power button it will light 2 leds, the power one and the drive one and then they shut off right away. i have done some measur and its seems to be ok i have the 19v on charger port and mosfet etc and i have 5v on the 5v coil and the 3.3v coil that comes from the bios chip olny shows the moment i it the power buton and then it goes 0v .

i have seen that the memory on board goes fault but how can know iff its a bad memory onboard card ??

Remove all power - no battery / no adapter. Then press the ON/OFF button again to force the capacitors to discharge.

Then use your multimeter in RESISTANCE mode (2k scale is good).

Check the resistance to ground of each coil on the board (likely large grey coils) -> red probe to the coil (either side) & black probe to ground (shield is ok).

Checking for a very low resistance to ground which often means a bad capacitor.

Some of the low voltage rails are expected to be low in resistance (ie. CPU / GPU, etc.).

Post any such findings.

On the memory - is it removable for this unit ? If yes, remove it and see if the laptop will turn on and offer a beep or LED pattern to identify the logic board is missing the RAM.

as for the memory they are onboard and i know by switching some resistance on the board it will disable the onboard memory and can use a memory on the slot avable. iff there was any way to check iff the problem are the onbard memory are in short would be nice .

as for the the coils and post here the result .

Hi , i have done some meuserments and all the coils seem ok , i forgot to mencion that whit the battery pluged and charger also pluged i get the orange led light on so it is charging the battery .

Hi,

i Have done some more measurment but i can not figure it out were is the problem , on the 19v i have all ok , on the bios eprom i have the 3v , but on the 3v coil only get it wen i press the power button and the power light gets on for 2 seconds and then shut down so it lets me thinking there is a short some were but i can not find it , any help please
