Medion Erazer not posting

Hi all,

I have a medion erazer which has Fan spins and then turns off.

Ive noticed some corrosion (even tho water never touched the laptop) and a weird spot on the cpu die and behind the Socket... is dead dead?

In my opinion, looks like someone attempted to remove this large BGA device without a proper BGA rework station. Perhaps with just an off the shelf paint stripper tool.

Had a similar thought. Or a hot air gun at 500c.
Especially as the rubber from the CPU edges is missing. But idk if it was there to begin with. Just looked for a second opinion : D

Well, the CPU isn't shorted out, yet I don't waste any more time. I got it for the screen, so I'll only take the screen.
