          You have schematic. Trace HWPG signal. It goes to many pwm. What is the resistance on HWPG pin of SIO?? Then check resistance on HWPG pin of PWM's where it is tied. There are two ways-Either you cut track of HWPG pin of PWM one by one and see if HWPG rises after which track cut. Else you can try replacing the pwm's tied with hwpg signal. You can also try lifting the coil connected to pwm one at a time and see if hwpg rises. Everyone have there own way to solve such issues. Start exploring.....

            You said EC_PWROK and RSMRST# is not present. Did you checked them when system consumes 100mA?? You need to check whether they rises at that time as on some platforms rsmrst# rises after switching.

              by valente222
              I have a Mb LA-A993P REV 1.0 computer, I am guiding myself with these two shared boards. ;
              there are some ICs that are not the same, in this case those of the PU1501 (JD4TB) and PUH1 (NF4SA) images.
              n, please identify.

              330mA of consumption after 8 seconds turns off. +3VALW AND +5VALW present, EC_RSMRST# , LID_SW# , EC_ON# , ACIN# present.

              SUSP# NOT PRESENT, which would be this the problem does not turn on sub-sources Any leakage?

              I also notice that in the PLH2 coil that belongs to +1.05VS according to the drawings I am not sure,

              Hello,

              I have a Lenovo MB LC40CM 19863-1 when press button is pushed the keyboard backlight turns on and off twice and the power button light keeps blinking and the fans spins for a few seconds and stops then again spins and stops (Three times) then laptop turns off. no image on screen. sometime when you leave it for few days it will turn on and work but once you restart it won't turn on.

              Tried to reball RAM 1,2,3,4
              Checked all voltages on big coils all present except 1V_VCCGT is not present I get 0V on this rail. is this voltage should be present once power button...

              Surface Pro 7 - SLP_S4 present, then gone
              by Prott
              Hello fellow Badcappers,
              I have a problem with stubborn Surface Pro 7. I narowed it down to disappearing SLP_S4# (gone after around 200 ms).

              Everything else works as it should (the whole power on sequence succesfully finishes, all the voltages are present) until this signal goes missing - with it missing the AND gate causes ALL_SYS_PWRGD to go back low and this makes VCCIN drop to 0 V as well. Interestingly the SLP_S4_DRV# signal from SAM is still present for a second, even after SLP_S4 is no longer there. I wonder what could either cause PCH to stop sending the signal or what...
